According to the Ellen McArthur Foundation, clothing production has approximately doubled in the last 15 years, driven by a growing middle-class population across the globe and increased per capita sales in developed economies. An expected 400 percent increase in world GDP by 2050 will mean even greater demand for clothing. To meet tomorrow’s demand for clothing in innovative ways, apparel companies need to do what they have never done before: design, test and invest in business models that maximize their useful life.
Latest Acquisition was founded in 2021 by Chicago-based artists and entrepreneurs Tiphanie Spencer and Jeremie Babinet. Our mission is to combat wastefulness by fostering an emotional connection with the garment through design in order to extend its useful life.
Our sweatshirts are a true fusion of art and fashion crafted with the utmost attention to detail.
Each design is a masterpiece, expertly heat pressed onto the fabric using high-quality vinyl, resulting in a visually striking garment. Our technique allows us to create vibrant and long-lasting designs on our sweatshirts without any excess waste.
The designs are created in our studio by our talented team of French-American designers based in Chicago, bringing a unique blend of European sophistication and American creativity to each piece.
In 2023, we also started a new series by drawing directly on the garment.
Each sweatshirt is one-of-a-kind, a perfect representation of our brand's philosophy of blending art and fashion while challenging the fast fashion industry. Whether you're looking for a statement piece to add to your wardrobe or a truly unique gift, our sweatshirts are sure to impress.
We drop a new collection the first Sunday of each month and have a clock at the bottom of the frontpage of our website with a countdown to the next drop.

ORDERS
Once an order is placed, the order cannot be altered or canceled. Merchandise availability is subject to change. In the event that an order is placed and the item is not available, we will automatically refund your original payment method and inform you about the unavailability shortly after the order is placed.
RETURNS
Please return items in new condition within 30 days of the original shipment along with a copy of the order confirmation email received at the time of purchase. Shipping and handling fees of the original purchase are not eligible for refunds and the customer is responsible for shipping charges when making returns.
EXCHANGES
We do not offer exchanges. If you want a different item, simply place a new order and return the unwanted item for a refund.
SHIPPING
Domestic orders are sent via UPS. Please allow 7–10 business days to process and ship orders. We will only ship to the address provided at checkout. We offer free shipping in the US. We do not offer signature confirmation and we are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.
REFUNDS
Refunds will be charged back to the original form of payment used for purchase once the returned item has been received and new condition verified within 5 business days of receiving the return.
